On Saturday September 19, Mr. Swenson ran the Top of Utah Marathon located in Logan, Utah. This race is 26.2 miles long. He challenged the students of PJHS to read 26 minutes a day.

Past and present directors of Shadow Mountain Camp, still employed in the Nebo School District, were honored recently at a meeting of the School Board. Shadow Mountain Camp is for boys and girls who have just completed the fifth grade.

Brent Shurtliff is currently employed in the Maintenance department as a Flooring specialist. Brent has worked for Nebo School District since June 1989. At Payson High School, Brent Shurtliff is the Head Softball coach. He is doing a fantastic job with the team.

On Wednesday, September 9, 2009, Sage Creek Elementary had the opportunity to highlight it’s student council election process to the Nebo Board of Education. Sixth-grade student, Shae Christensen, talked about why she wanted to be on the student council at Sage Creek.
