On Friday, November 5, 250 students from five Nebo District high schools attended a great health career fair at Landmark High School.
Students were introduced to 15 different careers by presenters from Intermountain Healthcare and Mountain Star.
Careers presented included nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, radiology, emergency care and more.
The students were shown a wide range of equipment used in the various professions, as well as demonstrations of possible procedures. Many demonstrations included experiences with actual body parts which gave realism to the learning.
Each presenter discussed the pathway to achieve their career as well as encouraging the students to begin their preparation now. For all those attending, it was a great success!
