Nebo Education Foundation Gives Grants February 2016

The Nebo Education Foundation board met this month to discuss the grants submitted by Nebo School District teachers and fund worthwhile projects in the district that provide resources to enrich student learning.

Kathryn Crandall Honored Teacher of the Year

Kathryn Crandall, teacher at Maple Mountain High School (MMHS) in Nebo School District, was awarded the Utah Association Career and Technology Education (UACTE) Teacher of the Year from the Work-based Learning division at the UACTE Conference held in St. George, Utah.

Payson Junior High Students Meet Music Composer

Payson Junior High invited an accomplished band composer, Darryl Johnson II, to come to the school and work with the band students n an effort to broaden the students’ appreciation for and understanding of the musical creation process.
