The Threads of Silk Road art showcase will be exhibited in Nebo School District at Hobble Creek Elementary at 1145 East 1200 North, Mapleton, Utah, from January 6, 2016, to February 3, 2016, and is opened Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Eileen Quintana, the program manager of the Nebo Title VII Education Program in Nebo School District was selected as one of Utah’s American Graduate Champions by Utah Education Network (UEN).
Foundation President, Kristina Christensen remarked, "It is a pleasure to receive the grant applications and see how remarkable and creative the Nebo District teachers are. The Nebo Education Foundation facilitates these grant monies to help teachers realize their ideas and students' potential.
THE PEAK AWARD CUSTOMER SERVICE PROGRAM
Ms. Emily McBride, an eighth-grade English teacher at Springville Junior, was honored as English Teacher of the year by the Utah Council of Teachers of English. She is one of three that were honored.
Student Council members invited Senator Henderson and Representative McKell to visit Sierra Bonita Elementary. The Legislators were able to participate in upper grade math lessons and lower grade guided reading.
Nebo Credit Union is celebrating this wonderful time of year with the annual Warm the Soles service project.
Nebo School District will present a Parent Awareness Night in accordance with Utah Law. The topics of discussion will include:
