Academic All-State Teams

Nebo School Board of Education recognized JoEden Parker and Carl Swenson as Huntsman Award for Excellence in Education recipients for 2013. JoEden Parker is a special education teacher at Mapleton Junior High and Carl Swenson is a Payson Junior High Principal.

What could possibly motivate 130 Junior High students to pay $20 for the privilege of going to school all day on a Saturday?  The first annual Nebo Junior High Theatre Festival.  Students attended an all-day workshop to hone their drama skills in a variety of workshops, including lunch

Spanish Fork Don’s softball team donates $1,000 to Juab’s senior Sam Guillory. Last summer, Juab Senior, Sam Guillory, played catcher for the SFHS Lady Dons softball team.

Ivan Cardenas, the Latinos in Action (LIA) Advisor at Payson High School, recently received the Community Champions Award from Molina Healthcare.
