This week Mrs. LoriAnn Sleight was chosen by her colleagues to receive the Nebo School District Association Crystal Apple Award at Sage Creek Elementary School for outstanding performance as a teacher. Mrs. Sleight has been a teacher at Sage Creek for over twenty years.

Jeanette Maughan's peers from Canyon Elementary, voted for her to receive the Horace Mann Crystal Apple Award.  Jeanette's first job was in the Provo School District where she taught first-grade at Timponogous Elementary School.  Many of her students were from other nations.

Nebo Attendance Court in its Third Year

The Nebo Attendance Court (NAC) program is in its third year of operation in Nebo School District. It was modeled after the Kentucky truancy model developed by Judge Joan Byers as an alternative to sending students to Juvenile Court for Habitual Truancy.
