Nebo School District held its annual Poetry Slam at Spanish Fork High School on May 7th. Students from all five junior highs and one middle school participated. Each school had their own competition and sent 3 finalists. The slammers wrote their own poems and performed them memorized to an audience in the Little Theater. Everyone did a great job, and the following students won prizes:
1st place: Cambria Hyatt, PJHS
2nd place: Adalyn Beddoes, PJHS
3rd place: Maggie Sumens, PJHS
4th place: Maria Lundgreen, MJHS
Honorable Mention: Andria Schwartz, DFMS
Overal school winner: Payson Junior High
