Nebo School Board Appoints Brent Hogan as the Principal of Barnett Elementary School

The Nebo School Board appointed Brent Hogan as the Principal of Barnett Elementary School.

Brent earned his Bachelor’s of Science Degree and Master’s Degree in Education Administration from Southern Utah University.

Brent has been employed by both Weber and Washington School Districts for the past 19 years. He began his career as a classroom teacher at Washington Elementary for six years before becoming a Title One Coordinator at Coral Cliffs Elementary for four years. He next served as a teacher for one year at Freedom Elementary, an Administrative Intern for one year at Burch Creek Elementary and Municipal Elementary, and Principal at Roy Elementary for the past seven years.

A colleague said about Brent, “Brent is a natural leader. People choose to follow him. He is a kid advocate and he works tirelessly to support his educators and support staff. Those in his stead feel seen, heard and understood. He is open to critical feedback and is the consummate “team player.”

Brent enjoys working with both students and parents and is looking forward to this new position.
