Nebo Tournament of the Bands - Answer to Wednesday Challenge

On Saturday, September 28, Nebo held its Tournament of the Bands. Congratulations to all our Nebo Bands. These are a few of the awards turned in.

Springville High
The Springville High band received Outstanding Color Guard and Second Place at the Nebo Tournament of Bands today! “A great start to the season! Go Red Devils!”    

Maple Mountain High                                    
The Maple Mountain High marching band competed in the Nebo Tournament of Bands Marching Competition at Payson High School. The band soared in their performance, and many judges and spectators were very complimentary of our show. The Band was awarded Outstanding Visual Performance, Outstanding Percussion, and they placed 1st out of 11 bands in the 5A Scholastic Division. Way to go!

Salem Hills High
The Salem Hills High marching band attended their first competition of the season on Saturday at the Nebo Tournament of the Bands held at Payson High School. The band placed 4th overall among 11 bands in their division as well as 2nd and 3rd place in the categories of percussion, overall visual effect, and color guard. On a 100 point scale, Salem was only .2 and .6 points behind 2nd and 3rd place. “We're excited for a great start to the season.”
