Miss Utah Visits Nebo Schools and Promotes Servesteem: Increasing Self-Esteem One Act at a Time - Answer to Wednesday Challenge

Submitted by lana.hiskey on

Miss Utah, Dexonna Talbot, took time to visit various Nebo schools.  Miss Utah started a Social Impact Initiative to create awareness of Servesteem: Increasing Self-Esteem One Act at a Time. Miss Talbot is doing just that by visiting students in Nebo schools. This particular visit was to Nebo's Oakridge School, a school for special needs children. A comment from Oakridge said that they were lucky to have Miss Utah visit them at school, and especially enjoyed when she read a book and performed her dance routine.

Also, Miss Utah was spotted welcoming students with "red carpet flare" at Cherry Creek Elementary on the first day of school.

Congratulations to Shellie Anderson for answering this week's "Where are we Wednesday?" challenge sponored by Wiggy Wash.
