Nebo SET (Standards for Effective Teaching)

What is it?

Based on the Utah Professional Teacher Standards, the Nebo Standards promote student learning and effective professional practice. These standards define high quality teaching as the core of a successful education for all students.

New Teacher EYE Portfolio

What is it?

The Nebo EYE Portfolio is a vehicle for collaboration between new teachers and their mentors. As such, many questions about the portfolio can be answered by the school mentors. Also, feel free to contact Annette Evans by email or phone (361-0313) with any additional questions or concerns.

New Teacher Mentoring

What is it?

A new teacher is more likely to be successful if they have the guidance of a tenured teacher. Nebo School District's Mentoring program provides this assistance.

UEN Professional Development

What is it?

Courses sponsored by Utah Education Network. Includes some online courses, and classroom learning, designed to help teachers improve.

PBS TeacherLine

What is it?

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, TeacherLine is pioneering a new and innovative model for on-demand, high quality, and standards-based teacher professional development.
