STEM EIP

STEM EIP Tuition Reimbursement

What is it?

Tuition reimbursement for courses related to earning STEM Endorsements. Elementary $500; Secondary $1500.

Requirements

Current Nebo teacher. Credit is from a college or university. Grade earned is a C or higher.

Eligible Endorsements

Check the list of qualified endorsements.

How does it work?

  • Check that your course qualifies.
  • Complete the course with a C grade or higher.
  • Submit proper documentation

Documentation

Receipt for tuition, fees and required course materials. Transcript showing name of course with grade.

Utah Teaching Observation Tool (UTOT)

What is it?

The Utah Effective Teaching Standards articulate what effective teaching and learning look like in the Utah public education system. The Standards are based upon the concepts adopted by the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO) in the Interstate Teacher Assessment and Support Consortium (InTASC). The Standards align with the teaching skills needed to successfully teach the Utah Core Standards. The Utah Teaching Observation Tool is based on the Utah Effective Teaching Standards and is the official evaluation tool for certified educators in Nebo School District.

What is it?

Courses sponsored by Utah Education Network. Includes some online courses, and classroom learning, designed to help teachers improve.


PBS TeacherLine

What is it?

Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, TeacherLine is pioneering a new and innovative model for on-demand, high quality, and standards-based teacher professional development. The online courses are facilitated by trained educators. Visit the national PBS TeacherLine site for course schedules and costs.
