On May 21st, 2024, the UCCU Center at Utah Valley University buzzed with excitement as Payson High School celebrated its graduating class of 2024. The theme, "The Journey Begins With Us," resonated throughout the ceremony, a powerful reminder that this graduating class is embarking on unique paths, forever connected by their shared journey at Payson High.
The Payson High School Trouveres kicked off the ceremony with a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, setting a tone of pride and accomplishment. Senior Class President Nick Dansie then welcomed the crowd with a speech titled "Make It One to Remember," encouraging his classmates to create lasting memories as they move forward.
Valedictorian Emma McKinnon took the stage next, her speech, "The Journey Matters Most," resonating with the importance of appreciating every step along the way. Salutatorian Logan Dahl followed, reminding everyone that "The Journey Has Already Begun," highlighting the experiences and lessons learned that have shaped them.
