THE PEAK AWARD CUSTOMER SERVICE PROGRAM
Nebo School District wants to showcase our Positive Energy and Kind employees. PEAK Awards are nominated by patrons and recognized by the Superintendent Staff and the Nebo School Board of Education. The award is administered by the Communications and Community Relations Department.

Rhiannon Bradley, Speech Language Pathologist, Riverview Elementary
Nominated by: Jackie Jarvis

Rhiannon always has a positive attitude. She is always smiling and is a ray of light wherever she goes. I am a 4th grade teacher and a parent of two children that have speech IEPs. My kids, when given the chance to go to speech or to stay in the classroom to do a fun activity, will choose to go work with Rhiannon every time. It is evident that Rhiannon genuinely loves her job of working with children. She brings the morale of the school up and is always willing to help out where it is needed.

Andy Kadomtsev, Sweeper, Park Elementary
Nominated by: Rosie Boren, Carrie Dunn, Holly Moss, Jessica Lindley, Cristina Lloyd, LesLee Hunt, and Charla Andersen

Andy does a wonderful job taking care of his responsibilities as a student sweeper. However, he has made a lasting impact on our students as he goes above and beyond his responsibilities. Several times he has made special arrangements to come and be our mascot, Parker Panther, and celebrate the students and their achievements. Students love to show their work and get a high five from Parker. That boost of confidence is so important in the lives of our students. We are so lucky to have Andy at our school!

Haylee Whiteley, Teacher, Salem Hills High School
Nominated by: Jen Hughes

Haylee goes above and beyond her duties as a teacher in her class. She is always helping the students with many of their needs. She is so good for the students and a big advocate for them. She has helped build the Unified program at Salem Hills High and has done a phenomenal job with it. Haylee has taken the time to help other schools in our district and outside our district to build their Unified team. She is passionate about her job and loves what she does. She is someone that many of us look up to and we admire her drive to be a better teacher/coach.

Morgan Peterson, Teacher, Meadow Brook Elementary
Nominated by: Carrie Mortimer and Megan Oropeza

Morgan Peterson exemplifies the qualities deserving of the PEAK award for several reasons. As a kindergarten teacher, she consistently uplifts her colleagues and students through her positive demeanor and kindness. Despite facing personal challenges, such as her husband's battle with cancer, Morgan admirably maintained a positive outlook and actively shared optimism within the school community. Her selflessness, love for her students, and dedication to spreading positivity make her a truly deserving candidate for this recognition.

Allison England, Technician, Salem Elementary
Nominated by: Jen Jolley, Taryn Brown, and Ashley Hill
At Salem Elementary, our mascot is a STAR! Stars are known for shining brightly, twinkling, providing direction, and being happy beacons of hope. Allison encompasses all of the traits for a STAR! Her compassion, patience, and positive attitude shine brightly illuminating the lives of the students she works with. She sees the strengths in each student and encourages them to find their unique talents. Her twinkling personality and smile never waver as she endures the physical and emotional demands of her position. Allison is as dependable as the North Star.

Kate Searle, Teacher, Spanish Fork High
Nominated by: Alyssa Chatterton

Kate continually goes out of her way to change students' lives for the better. She has no prep period, but is constantly putting in extra time and effort into making lessons interactive, engaging, and fun. She is positive, happy, and kind. She is the definition of a "coffee bean" here at Spanish Fork High because every time you see her, you are changed for the better.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This initiative is designed to focus on "raising the bar" on providing exceptional customer service, both internally and externally. A key component of this initiative is the development of the PEAK Award. The PEAK (Positive Energy and Kindness) Award is presented monthly to someone in the Nebo School District who "really gets it" when it comes to providing exceptional customer service, which in turn results in positive impacts on everyone including students, parents, co-workers and members of the community.

Who Gets Nominated?
Faculty and staff members are nominated by anyone in the community through the Nebo School District website, www.nebo.edu/PEAK wherein a special Customer Service link is provided. The directions as to how to nominate an employee for the PEAK Awards are clearly spelled out on the site. All nominations must include information on how the individual has provided exceptional customer service, as well as how the employee's actions impacted the nominator's overall perception of Nebo School District Schools. The name and contact information of the nominator must be included.
