Veterans Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on November 11, for honoring military veterans, who are people who have served in the United States Armed Forces.
When honoring our Veteran heroes, Maple Mountain hosted the Utah Army National Guard Chief of Staff, Colonel Joseph Green. He was accompanied by his wife, Brenda, who is a graduate of Springville High School. Scott Neilson, social studies teacher, served under COL Green for nearly three years.
Mr. Neilson stated, “Colonel Joseph Green is an exceptional leader.”
