A touching Christmas miracle:

The Spanish Fork Rotary instigated a giving tree for students in need in Nebo School District. Business and individuals donated clothes, food, shoes, hygiene supplies and other items to the Dragon Pantry to help bring Christmas to families in need.

Word has it there is Christmas Cheer afoot! Thanks to the generosity of Nebo Credit Union members, local schools, and credit union employees, Nebo CU was able to purchase 900 pairs of quality shoes for children in 42 schools and 4 support programs within Nebo School District.

Nebo School District’s teacher Elosie Bridges, a teacher at Payson High School, was nominated and won the KSL Teacher Feature.

Mrs. Bridges was nominated by a student, Brendon Earl. He said in part:

Hobble Creek Elementary had a special visitor, Kristen Betts, Nebo School Board of Education President, read a Christmas story to Miss Johnson's fourth-grade class. The story book was Mr. Willowby's Christmas Tree. Mrs.

Brockbank brought the Christmas spirit to the December Board Meeting with a delightful presentation of “A Brockbank Christmas Carol.”

Brent Coffman was recognized by the Utah Association of School Psychologists with the Lifetime Achievement Award in November 2017.

Jennelle Youngs, sixth-grade teacher at Foothills Elementary, is one of Nebo’s up and coming teachers! She is always looking for ways to integrate technology in her classroom to make a greater impact on student learning.

The Nebo School Board of Education, in December board meeting, congratulated the Spanish Fork Marching Band as the 1A State Champions and the Maple Mountain Marching Band as the 2A State Champions for 2017. #nebohero #engagestudents #studentsuccess #empowerstudents
