The last week March 2017, Nebo School District held its third quarterly Captains Academy Spring Session on leadership and sportsmanship. The Captains Academy is held three times a year.

Maple Mountain High’s Tyler Christmas, Tosh Davis, and Ben Warnick took First Place in Welding Fabrication and Savannah Marker took Second Place in job Interview. This marks MMHS's fifth year in a row that MMHS won a gold medal in Welding Fabrication.

Nebo's Spanish Fork High School SkillsUSA team members competed at the State Competition last Friday. All eight competitors represented SFHS well in several categories. Rochelle Christensen competed in the interview category and went further than anyone in the history of SFHS in this category.

Nebo student, Dallas Williams and a junior at Salem Hills High, wins runner-up for his entry "The Biker and I" in the Personal Narrative category at the UVU High School Writing Competition. Dallas wins a $50 prize for his winning entry. Congratulations Dallas!
