From patriotic assemblies to hands-on classroom traditions, our students spent the day exploring the principles that unite us.
In Nicole Marrott’s kindergarten class at Sierra Bonita Elementary, the celebration was extra special:
📜 VIP Visitors: Students welcomed "Betsy Ross" and "John Hancock" to their classroom!
🖊️ Classroom Constitution: Young learners learned what it means to build shared rules and signed their very own class constitution.
🔔 Pats & History: After learning about the Liberty Bell and our flag, they wrapped up the day by crafting (and eating!) delicious edible American flags. 🇺🇸 snack time = best time.
Seeing our youngest students connect with history in meaningful ways makes this day unforgettable!

Nebo District is offering a mental health screener for students on the evening of September 21, 2026, at Diamond Fork Middle School from 4 pm to 8 pm. We will be using Terrace Metrics software to measure mental and emotional strengths, as well as screen for anxiety, depression, trauma, and suicidal ideation of students in grades 6-12. Students in grades 3-5 may participate to be screened for mental and emotional strengths, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
If you would like to participate, please sign up here for an appointment. The assessment tool takes an average of 15 minutes to complete. Afterward, you and your student will meet with a school counselor or social worker to discuss the results of the assessment and receive resources, as needed.

Prior to taking the mental health screener, a consent form needs to be completed by the parent/guardian. The consent form will be available upon arrival at the screener event.

Internet safety matters, and creating a secure digital environment for our children starts at home. Nebo School District invites all parents across the district to attend a virtual Internet Safety Parent Outreach Night.
Led by District Digital Specialists, this interactive session will share practical tools, guidance, and trusted resources from Common Sense Media to help families navigate online safety together. Every participating family will leave with actionable strategies they can implement that very evening.

Welcome to the Nebo family! Today and tomorrow at the Summit Center, our newest teachers, counselors, and psychologists are gathering for two full days of practical training and benefits orientation.
