What does "alternative" really mean? At Landmark High School, Principal Jason Beardall is redefining the term—not as a last resort, but as an intentional design for success. 🚀
This year has been a game-changer for the Landmark community:
Expanded Horizons: A brand-new 20-classroom addition has opened its doors, bringing all Nebo School District RTC programs (Magellan, Healing Home, and DSI) under one unified roof.
Hands-On Future: Thanks to YIC grant funding, students now have access to 9 career-training simulators. From driving to heavy machinery, students are building real-world workforce skills right on campus. 🚜
The Power of "The Landing": A dedicated space that brings student and family supports together, ensuring every person is met with dignity and the resources they need to thrive. 🤝
By balancing high accountability with high support—through initiatives like the GAP (Goal Achievement Program)—Jason and his team are proving that at Landmark, alternative means more: more innovation, more support, and more pathways to the future.
