Our Educators Rising students attended the Utah Educators Rising State Competition on March 4, 2026 at Weber State University. They each represented the Advanced Learning Center and Nebo School District very well.
Our ALC students placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the categories they competed in and had a wonderful experience networking with other aspiring educators and universities throughout Utah. We want to recognize and congratulate the following individuals for their achievement at State Competition, and wish them luck at Educators Rising National Competition in Portland, Oregon this summer!
Arrow Miner: 1st place in Educators Rising Leadership Award
Jane Dastrup: 2nd place in Lesson Planning and Delivery - Arts
Brooklyn Christofferson: 2nd place in Lesson Planning and Delivery - Humanities
Bella Cox: 3rd place in Lesson Planning and Delivery - Humanities
