THE LANDING: Your Place. Your People. Your Support.
At Nebo School District, we believe every student deserves a place to land. That’s why we’ve created THE LANDING, a welcoming space where basic needs are met with dignity, support is given without judgment, and connection is at the heart of everything we do.
This year, we’re launching THE LANDING as a new teen center and resource hub to support Nebo School District students and their families, especially those facing food insecurity and other challenges of basic needs. Whether it’s a take-home meal kit, hygiene supplies, access to laundry and shower services, a backpack full of school supplies, or simply a quiet space to take a breath, THE LANDING helps remove barriers so students can focus on learning, belonging, and thriving.
Core Values
Belonging – Everyone is welcome here.
Support – Resources for both students and families.
Dignity – Needs are met with privacy and respect.
Empowerment – A hand up, not a handout.
What is The Landing?
Many of our students in Nebo School District face challenges that extend far beyond the classroom—unstable housing, food insecurity, or inconsistent support at home. And when a student’s basic needs aren’t met, it’s hard for them to learn, grow, or feel hope. The Landing is a student and family support center located inside Landmark High School. It combines the function of a teen center for students at Landmark High School, as well as a resource hub, and community pantry—offering essential items, comfort, and care in a welcoming environment for all families across the district.
The Landing Serves:
Landmark High School students who need a place to reset and return to class, utilize laundry or shower services, access hygiene items, school supplies, or snacks.
Families of Nebo School District students who may need pantry staples, clothing, hygiene items, or help connecting to community services including laundry or shower services by appointment.
Staff who want a central place to refer students and families for supportive resources.
No paperwork. No judgment. Just support.
