Throughout this week, Oct 6- Oct. 10, it is College Application week. (sometimes called UCAW because who wants to say Utah College Application Week 5 times fast?!)
This week is a fantastic opportunity for our students to prepare for their post-high school education. Our counselor, Mrs. Grant, has gathered a variety of college resources to assist students at any stage—whether you're a sophomore, junior, or senior.
Important Events and Announcements:
Seniors, Take Note! On Wednesday, October 8th, representatives from USU Eastern and the University of Utah will be visiting our school in the morning. This is your chance to interact with them, ask questions, and gain insights into application processes, financial aid, and more.
Also Thursday and Friday, Ms. Grant will be visiting Mrs. Paystrup's English classes to talk one-on-one with the seniors with some important info.
Make the most out of this opportunity to ensure you're well-prepared for decision day.
Kickoff Event: We started the week with a delicious 2 day- Waffle Breakfast and lunch for all our students. It's not just about the food; it's about fueling your journey towards higher education!
College Information Tables: Throughout the week, explore various tables set up with information from different colleges. This is an excellent chance to gather brochures, speak with representatives, and collect plenty of S.W.A.G!
