Springville High School recently hosted a landmark event in its history: the inaugural performance in its newly constructed auditorium. The evening's program featured the choirs of Springville High School, under the direction of Dr. Cory Mendenhall, together with the Master Singers of Springville Junior High, directed by Mrs. Rebecca Young.
The collaboration of ensembles from both schools reflected the continuity and strength of the choral tradition within the Springville community.
Musical accompaniment was provided by Mrs. Emily Marshall and Mrs. Kelly Paxton, whose artistry supported each ensemble throughout the evening. The program was further enriched by the music of violinist Ms. McKenna Dunn.
The concert stands as a significant milestone for Springville High School, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the performing arts. The auditorium now serves as a lasting home for the school's performing arts programs and a venue for community gatherings for decades to come.
The administration, faculty, and students of Springville High School extend their gratitude to all who contributed to the realization of this facility and to the community members whose support made the evening possible.
