For six consecutive years, Doug Smith Subaru has proved that community partnerships can transform the educational experience. This school year, that dedication was on full display as the dealership delivered game-changing support to Park View Elementary.
To kick off the celebration, Park View students and staff organized an appreciation assembly for visiting Doug Smith Subaru team members. The atmosphere was electrifying, complete with a video highlighting what the funds will be used for, and a honor-lap around the venue to celebrate the dealership’s ongoing commitment to local education.
Doug Smith Subaru also had a surprise for the students and staff at Park View. They invited Mrs. Walker, the previous principal of Park View Elementary, to pass along the "Queen Bee Crown" to Mrs. Jarvis!
The highlight of the event came with two major announcements from Doug Smith Subaru:
Direct Classroom Grants: Every teacher at Park View Elementary received $500 to directly fund classroom supplies and learning materials for the year.
STEM Program Funding: An additional $2,500 donation was made to expand hands-on STEM learning tools and technology for all grade levels.
