Crowd at Opening INstitute

Nebo School District launched the 2025–2026 school year on a high note during its annual Opening Institute, bringing together educators, administrators, and support staff from across the district. The gathering provided an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of Nebo employees, highlighting this year’s Classified Employees of the Year, Certified Employees of the Year, and PEAK Award recipients.

A hallmark of the event was recognizing outstanding contributions to student success and community engagement.

Thanks to a long-standing partnership with Get Away Today, two top PEAK Award winners were awarded $500 gift certificates in recognition of their extraordinary service to Nebo students and schools:

  • Jodi Beck

  • Alec Jeppson

Both recipients were celebrated for going above and beyond in their daily efforts to elevate learning environments and mentor students.

In a special tradition, the Nebo Education Foundation expressed its gratitude to every teacher who took the time to write and submit grant proposals during the 2025–2026 school year. To show their appreciation, the foundation held a drawing to award six $500 gift cards to lucky elementary and secondary educators representing the North, Central, and South regions of the district:

"Our teachers and staff are the heart of Nebo School District," said district leadership. "Whether in the classroom, on the school grounds, or behind the scenes, their devotion creates a nurturing and high-achieving environment for our students every day."

Nebo School District extends a sincere congratulations to all of this year's award winners, grant applicants, and honored nominees for their exemplary service!
