Today and tomorrow, Nebo School District opens its doors at the Summit Center to welcome our newest educators, counselors, and psychologists for the annual New Teacher Training and Welcome event. This two-day orientation is designed to give every professional entering "New to Nebo" a seamless start and a strong foundation for the upcoming school year.

Throughout the two full days, participants are diving into essential benefits orientation alongside practical, applicable classroom training. From high-impact instructional strategies to student support systems, the practical workshops equip new staff with actionable tools they can put to use on day one.

The event kicked off with an inspiring Welcome Meeting, where new hires were personally greeted by the Superintendent and district administrative leadership. Adding to the warm welcome, long-time community partners at Nebo Credit Union stepped up once again to support our educators. In addition to providing lunch for both days of training, Nebo Credit Union gifted every attendee a gear backpack and a $50 gift card to help them prepare their workspaces and classrooms.

With practical preparation, dedicated district support, and strong community partnerships, Nebo's newest teachers, counselors, and psychologists are well-equipped to make a lasting impact on our students and schools this year.
