SPANISH FORK, UT

Not even a grey sky could dampen the spirits of the "Dragon" community today. On a cool, misty afternoon at the Spanish Fork Fairgrounds, Landmark High School officially bid farewell to the Class of 2026 in a ceremony defined by resilience, heart, and high energy.

Despite the unseasonably cold and wet weather, the atmosphere under the grandstands was electric as families huddled together to cheer on a milestone moment for over 220 graduating seniors.

The weather may have been damp, but the pride was palpable. The Class of 2026 has never been a group to let a little "storm" get in their way, and today’s ceremony was a perfect reflection of that "Dragon" grit. As the graduates took their seats, the focus shifted from the rain to the remarkable journey they had taken to reach the finish line.graduates

The program featured a lineup of speakers who highlighted the unique bond shared by Landmark students:

Student Body President: Delivered a heartfelt address, reflecting on the tight-knit community at Landmark and the personal growth each student experienced.

Principal Jason Beardall: Shared words of praise for the graduates' perseverance, reminding them that the strength they showed in high school will serve as their foundation for the future.

Nebo School Board Member: Congratulated the class on behalf of the district, emphasizing the bright futures awaiting this resilient group of young adults.

Lt. Governor Henderson shared a message of hope and encouragement with graduates.

The highlight of the day was the diploma presentation, where more than 200 students, each with their own story of determination, crossed the stage to become official Landmark alumni. The cheers from the crowd echoed across the fairgrounds, proving that the Landmark family is as loud and loyal as they come.

As the tassels were turned and the caps flew (briefly braving the drizzle), the message of the day was clear: weather is temporary, but the achievement of a high school diploma is forever.

It was, indeed, a very good day to be a Dragon.
