Spanish fork high graduation

Spanish Fork was thick with pride and nostalgia this week as the Class of 2026 officially turned their tassels. Friends, family, and faculty gathered to witness the commencement of a group of students who have spent the last four years defining what it means to be a "Don."

The evening began with a stirring Prelude and Processional performed by the SFHS Orchestra, setting a tone of dignity and celebration. As the graduates filed in, the SFHS Vocal Jazz ensemble set the stage with a powerful rendition of the "National Anthem."

Senior Class President Tessa Moore took the podium to lead the Pledge of Allegiance and offer a warm welcome to the assembly. Moore’s dual role in the program underscored her dedication to her peers, as she reflected on the shared challenges and triumphs that shaped their high school journey.

Following the welcome, the Senior Class Council premiered a Special Video Presentation. The montage served as a "trip down memory lane," capturing everything from sporting victories and theatrical performances to the quiet, everyday moments in the hallways that the graduates will surely miss most.

The atmosphere turned sentimental as Vocal Jazz performed a soulful cover of "Rainbow Connection" by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher, a fitting tribute to the dreams and "lovers and dreamers" sitting in the graduating rows.

Noah Beebe, the Class of 2026 Valedictorian, delivered a poignant address. Beebe challenged his classmates to carry the spirit of Spanish Fork with them, reminding them that while their diplomas mark an ending, they are also a "license to learn" in the wider world.

The formal transition from students to alumni was overseen by key district and school leaders:

Principal Matt Christensen shared remarks praising the resilience and character of the graduating class.

Nebo Board Member Shauna Warnick offered congratulatory words on behalf of the district, emphasizing the community's support for the graduates' next chapters.

The pinnacle of the evening arrived with the Presentation of Diplomas. As members of the SFHS Faculty introduced each graduate, cheers erupted from the stands. One by one, the Class of 2026 crossed the stage, shaking hands and stepping into their futures.

The ceremony concluded with the Recessional, led by the SFHS Orchestra. As the new alumni marched out to the cheers of their community, one thing was certain: the Class of 2026 is ready to make its mark.

"Once a Don, Always a Don." > Congratulations to the Spanish Fork High School Class of 2026!
