The Nebo School Board of Education is pleased to announce the appointment of Jade Andersen as the District Student Success Coordinator, effective July 1, 2026.
Mr. Andersen’s career is rooted in a deep commitment to specialized student support. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Mild/Moderate Special Education from Brigham Young University. He later expanded his expertise at Southern Utah University, where he earned both his Master of Education and his Educational Leadership Endorsement.
Jade brings 19 years of foundational educational experience to this new district-level role. His career has been defined by his ability to bridge the gap between high expectations and compassionate support.
Special Education Roots: Spent half of a year at Foothills Elementary followed by seven years at Spanish Fork Junior High, building a strong foundation in student advocacy.
The Dean’s Office: Served as the Dean of Students at Maple Mountain High School for four years, followed by leadership roles at Springville High School and Spanish Fork High School.
Dual Leadership Excellence: For the past six and a half years, Jade has served as the Assistant Principal at Spanish Fork High School, while simultaneously leading as the Principal of Oakridge

Jade is married to Charla, and they are the proud parents of three children: McKenna, River, and Avery. When he isn’t attending high school events, Jade is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys camping, hiking, and traveling. Above all, he loves watching and supporting his children in their various athletics and activities.
