The Springville High School Choirs and Maple Mountain High School Choirs are teaming up for a special musical event, joining the Intermountain Choral Artists & Symphony Orchestra to perform Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem. This highly anticipated concert will be held on March 28 at 7:00 PM in the historic Salt Lake Tabernacle. Admission is free to the public.
Monday night, all participating choirs gathered for a collaborative rehearsal to prepare for the upcoming performance. Under the direction of Dr. Cory Mendenhall and Dr. Austin Thorpe, students worked together to blend their voices and perfect the challenging choral work. The joint rehearsals have not only elevated the musical quality, but also fostered a spirit of unity and shared achievement among the singers.
