The Nebo Education Foundation Board met this month to discuss grant proposals and was pleased to award a total of $5,684.78 in grants to deserving teachers across the district. These funds will go directly toward enhancing classrooms, providing essential technology, and supporting student learning in new and engaging ways.

Congratulations to the following grant recipients:
District Wide (SPED): Katrina Davenport received a grant for Remote Microphone Technology to assist students with hearing needs.
Salem Hills High: Zac Trotter was awarded a grant for passive array speakers to enhance audio quality.
Salem Hills High: Charlotte Whiteside received funding for robot kits to support hands-on technical learning.
Salem Elementary: Tori Konold received a grant to support competition programs for students.
Mt. Loafer Elementary: LeMira Wheelwright was awarded funds for new STEAM library materials.
Barnett Elementary: Jena Sonntag received a grant for geology materials to bring science standards to life.
Springville High: Cathay Richins received a grant for new books to expand classroom libraries.
Spanish Fork Jr. High: Kelly Cabreros was awarded a grant for additional books.
Spanish Fork Jr. High: Esther Zacharias received funding for bouncy bands to help students with focus and movement.
Wilson Elementary: Melanie Kunz received a grant for ELA (English Language Arts) materials.
East Meadows Elementary: Molli Christensen was awarded funds for new classroom stools.
The Nebo Education Foundation functions through generous donations from the community and businesses. These tax-deductible donations enrich the education of students within the Nebo School District.
