Community Service

In a remarkable display of community spirit and teamwork, student athletes from across the Nebo School District recently participated in various service projects, showcasing their commitment to making a positive impact beyond their sports. This initiative not only fostered community engagement but also highlighted the athletes' dedication to serving others.

Swimmers from all five schools in the district came together to visit the Spanish Fork Assisted Living Home. The student athletes spent quality time with the residents, sharing stories and engaging in activities that brought joy and companionship. Their presence was deeply appreciated, and the swimmers left a lasting impression on the residents.

The boys' basketball teams from Spanish Fork and Salem High Schools made significant contributions through their volunteer efforts. The turnout from the both schools was commendable and impactful.

The girls' basketball teams from Salem and Maple Mountain High Schools actively participated, demonstrating their commitment to community service. Both teams did an outstanding job and contributed significantly to the initiative.

These service projects underscore the importance of community involvement and the role student athletes play in fostering a culture of giving back. The Nebo School District is proud of the student athletes who took the time to support their communities and demonstrate true sportsmanship off the field.

The district looks forward to future initiatives where students can continue to engage in meaningful service, further strengthening the bond between schools and their communities. These experiences are invaluable in shaping well-rounded individuals who are not only athletes but also compassionate and responsible citizens.
