Each year, United Way of Utah County sponsors an inspiring event that brings together community spirit and volunteerism in a powerful way—the "Day of Caring." In Nebo School District we had more than 200 dedicated volunteers from 9 companies participate, arriving with tools in hand and hearts wide open, ready to make a difference in our schools and community.
This year, we were thrilled to have nine of our elementary schools participate in this transformative event. Volunteers engaged in a variety of projects that ranged from painting playground games and performing yardwork to engaging students in reading and exciting STEM activities. The result? A vibrant and enhanced learning environment for our students, and a testament to the power of community collaboration.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to United Way of Utah County and the many volunteers from the following companies who generously gave their time and energy: Canyon View Medical Group, MegaDiamond, Flowserve, BYU, Revere Health, US Synthetic, MTECH, Wavetronix, and Nestle. Your contributions have made a lasting impact on our schools and community, and we look forward to continuing this incredible tradition in the years to come. Together, we are building a brighter future for our students and our community.
