Oakridge School held their graduation ceremony today to honor students aging out of its specialized program. The event began with a warm welcome from teacher Wendy Dahle, who greeted families, staff, and friends gathered to celebrate this meaningful milestone.
Principal Jade Anderson spoke about the unique and inspiring environment at Oakridge, emphasizing the remarkable impact the students have had on their school community. “What once may have seemed like challenges have become strengths—not only for these students but for everyone fortunate enough to know them,” he said.
Staff members Mark Jones, Jason Shelly, and Brandie Spague each shared personal reflections and heartfelt stories, highlighting the connections and memorable experiences they’ve had with the exiting students. Their messages were filled with admiration and emotion, underscoring how greatly these students will be missed.
To close the ceremony, Principal Anderson returned to the stage to present certificate of completion to these exceptional individuals.
