The Payson High School Class of 2025 holds a unique place in the school's history as the final graduating class to graduate from the beloved old building before its demolition. Their Commencement Program was a poignant blend of tradition and anticipation for the future, celebrating their achievements while acknowledging the end of an era.

The ceremony commenced with the processional of the Senior Class, accompanied by a musical selection from the Payson High School Pipe Band, a fitting tribute to the school's enduring spirit. The PHS Trouveres then delivered a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem. Senior Class President Angel E. Trejo led the Pledge of Allegiance, followed by a heartfelt welcome from fellow Senior Class President Evan C. Laker, aptly themed "Time." Valedictorian Miles Simister offered a reflective and forward-looking address titled "C’est la vie, The End of an Era, The Start of Everything," while Salutatorian Olivia A. Nielson shared her memories in "To High School & First Kisses." The PHS Trouveres graced the audience once more with a performance of "Song for the Mira" by Allister MacGillivary, arranged by Stuart Calvert.

Principal's Choice Speaker Valerie Solorzano delivered an inspiring message, "Fulfilling the Present," followed by a beautiful musical selection, "Somewhere In Time" by John Barry and arranged by Calvin Custer, performed by the PHS Symphony Orchestra. Nebo Board of Education Member and former Payson High School Principal, Scott Wilson, offered his remarks and congratulations to the graduating class. Principal Jesse Sorenson made a few short Remarks and presented the Diplomas. As the graduates recessed, they carried with them not only their diplomas but also the legacy of the old Payson High building, stepping confidently into a future filled with possibilities.
