Rose Reese Quintana was selected as a GOLD Dreamstarter Winner. This means she will receive $50,000 to begin working with the Nebo Title VI Indian Education Program to recruit more students into the medical field. This prestigious grant was only give to five applicants across the United States. These five incredible individuals were chosen to proceed with their community projects. Rose graduated from Maple Mountain High School and wants to serve the community in which she lives. Rose will be working with young Native youth interested in a career in the health field while collaborating with MTECH, ALC, and local medical experts.
