Springville High School’s girls cross country team made history by winning the 5A state championship, but the achievement has special meaning here at Springville Junior High. Two of our own—Chloe Boyer and Mariana Taylor—were key contributors to the victory, and the team’s coach, Mrs. Valerie Bodily, is not just an outstanding coach but also a dedicated math teacher at our school.

Chloe and Mariana, both current Springville Jr. High students, were the 3rd and 4th runners for the varsity team. Their hard work, commitment, and team spirit helped Springville secure the state title.

We’re proud of Chloe, Mariana, and Mrs. Bodily—not just for their athletic achievements, but for showing what it means to be Knights! Congratulations on your incredible season and thank you for representing Springville Junior High so well!
