Dear SJHS families:
We hope you’ve had an excellent first day of summer vacation! We are grateful for the time that we spent with our students this year. We loved seeing them learn and grow! We wish our 9th graders good luck as they move on to Springville High School and hope they will enjoy their time as Red Devils. We look forward to seeing our 8th graders again next year and are excited to meet the incoming class from Spring Canyon Middle School!
Russ Sumens, our Dean of Students, has been appointed assistant principal of Valley View Middle School next year. We appreciate the support and guidance he has provided to our students over the past three years. He will be missed! Josh Bravo, teacher at Salem Hills High School, will join our administrative team as Dean of Students this summer. He will be a great addition to our school!
Summer information:
If you need to speak to someone at the school during the summer, the building will be open from 8:00am - 1:00pm, Monday - Thursday each week.
The finance office will be open from 9:00am - 1:00pm, Tuesday and Thursday each week.
Counselors will be available from 9:00am - 1:00pm each Wednesday.
The building will be closed May 26, June 16, July 4, July 24, and each Friday.
There are two community options for free lunches throughout the summer. Please see the flyers for information about meals offered at Cherry Creek Elementary and the Springville City Library and Splash Pad. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable summer!
