On Thursday, May 7th, Native American youth and their families gathered for a special celebration highlighting student accomplishments and achievements throughout the school year. The event featured an inspiring guest speaker and a student panel, creating an uplifting atmosphere of recognition and pride. During the celebration, nominated students were honored for their outstanding efforts, including award recipients from Spring Canyon Middle School: Owen McCabe, Damon Sturgill, Wyatt Cayton, Nicholas Yazzie, Maykayla Manitoken, Brody Larsen, Michael Allison, Nynna Begay, Troy Powell, Rooney Vest, and Kade Bronson. The evening served as a meaningful tribute to the hard work and success of Native American students, fostering a strong sense of community and encouragement for future achievements.
