What an extraordinary day at Sage Creek Elementary! Today, we were thrilled to host an assembly with the incredible BMX bikers from 5050 BMX. Olympic silver medalist Hannah inspired us all, reminding us to "always believe in yourself". Bridger, who started riding at just 3 years old, showed us the true spirit of perseverance when he didn't let a missed trick stop him ā he just tried again! And Sam had us all on the edge of our seats with his favorite trick: the backflip! And let's not forget the epic bunny hop over Mr. Runolfson, Ms. Mott, Hannah, and Cousin Jonah!
Mr. Buckley, owner of 5050 BMX, shared that BMX stands for Bicycle Moto Cross, or as he likes to say, "Be More eXtraordinary". We couldnāt agree more!
A massive thank you to 5050 BMX, the local shop we all wish we had, for bringing their top-tier team and enthusiasm to our school. Youāve truly got us psyched about BMX!

It was an exciting day for our 5th graders! Today, they attended a performance of "A Midsummer Nightās Dream" at Spanish Fork High School after an enriching CKLA unit on Shakespeare. Through this unit, they've explored the beauty of Shakespeare's language and met unforgettable characters like Oberon, Titania, and Puck. Thanks to Spanish Fork High School for the opportunity to see Shakespeare's magic come alive on stage!

It's been a busy week for Sage Creek kindergarten students. They are continuing their ABC Countdown to Summer. Tuesday was "I" for ICE CREAM SANDWICH! Nothing beats a delicious treat after a day of learning and play. Our kindergartners enjoyed every bite! Wednesday was "J" for JERSEY! Students wore their favorite jerseys, representing their beloved teams with pride. Go team! Today is "K" for KINDNESS! Our students are learning the importance of helping others. They are serving a friend in class, spreading kindness and smiles all around.
