Rees Elementary and Nebo School District participate in the Beverly Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program (BTSArts). BTSArts Dance Specialist, Melanie Fillmore, will be visiting our school for the next 6 weeks. She will be working with teachers and students, together finding ways to integrate dance and movement into the school day. Movement can be used to enrich the learning of everyday subjects like math, literacy, science, and social studies. Dance can also be a lot of fun and is a great way to build community. Be on the look out for some fun dance opportunities in the near future.
Look for a dance game with Mrs. Fillmore at the Rees Carnival!
Mrs. Robbins will be teaching students a school wide dance that everyone can dance together at school awards assemblies!
Join Mrs. Fillmore in the gym Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings for a morning dance party and a bit of exercise to start the day! 8:45-9:10 am
