This year East Meadows is celebrating 20 years! To commemorate so many wonderful years of learning and school community we installed a Mustang Sign on our school fence. We hope students and staff (past, present, and future) will enjoy seeing the sign and always remember how special it is to be an East Meadows Mustang! We will continue to celebrate our past, honor our present, and envision our future. We are the Mustangs of East Meadows!

We kicked off Red Ribbon Week with an assembly centered on spreading kindness. Each student received a heart rock and some students received 2 so they could spread joy by giving it to someone special. ❤️

Fourth grade earned a party for all their hard work and participation during their CKLA Middle Ages unit!

Second grade participated in a karate presentation about anti-bullying and being a good friend!

Today was our Excellence Assembly for the month of October. We recognized students who exhibit good character at school! Way to go Mustangs!

Kindergarten had to wait a few extra days to visit Gordo's when some wet weather came through but it was worth the wait for a nice day!

After getting rained out on their first attempt to visit Cornbelly's 2nd grade got lucky with a beautiful day and had the best time!

First grade braved the cold, wet weather and had a blast at Gordo's!

Miss Spanish Fork came to teach 2nd Grade about our First Responders of Spanish Fork… what they do and how they help us everyday!!!

This month East Meadows students and staff are focusing on having good character! Having good character means consistently choosing to do what is right even when no one is watching. Some core traits that embody good character are integrity, honesty, responsibility, resilience, empathy and kindness. Character counts! Be the best version of YOU!

We had a fun filled time at Gordo's last night! Thank you to everyone who came out to support East Meadows. We are so grateful for our amazing school community!

Fourth grade testing energy transfers and collisions with some fun hands on experiments!

Tomorrow (Monday, October 5th) is the BIG DAY! Join us at Gordo's from 4:30-8:30pm for an evening of fun. Bring your family and friends and come hungry. We will have lots of yummy food for sale. Don't forget to stop by our silent auction to view baskets and place a few bids. We can't wait to see everyone!

We participated in the statewide Read-A-Thon on Friday. Students wore pajamas and brought blankets and pillows to get comfy while they read!

We held our first Mustang Market of the year. Students have been earning attendance bucks for being in class on time each day. They brought their bucks to the market and were able to buy prizes to celebrate their attendance! There were a variety of choices such as toys, candy, books, and even extra recess.

Third grade visited the Butterfly Biosphere at Thanksgiving Point!
