MMHS Ag Mech Team

Maple Mountain FFA students had an outstanding showing at the state competition, earning top honors across multiple events.

The Ag Communications team took 1st place in the state and will represent Utah at the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis this fall. Team members included Logan O'Flathery-Davis, Charlotte Tibbals, Linzie Christensen, and Jocelyn Whittle, who was also named 2nd high individual.

The Floriculture team placed 7th out of nearly 60 teams and advanced to the finals round. Mandi Smith earned the title of 1st high individual in the state—be sure to congratulate her! She was joined by teammates Jamie Castro, Danica Morris, and Harley Rowbury.

The Ag Mechanics team placed 6th out of about 50 teams and also advanced to finals, where they completed a team welding practicum. Individually, Brady Pearson placed 4th overall and was recognized as the High Performing Individual in the Electrical Content Area. Evan Rogers placed 8th overall, and Kaitlyn Harding placed 10th overall.

Congratulations to all of these students for their hard work and success!
