Dr. Everett Kelepolo was recognized by UDTSEA (Utah Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association) and the Utah Board of Education. On April 29th at the Davis Conference Center during the UDTSEA awards ceremony, Dr Kelepolo received an award for the Utah Driver Education Director of the Year
"Dr. Kelepolo has made a huge impact on driver education in the Nebo School District. He serves on the state driver education board and attends every meeting providing communication and leadership. He meets with his driver education coordinators frequently and has quarterly program training for all of his instructors. Everett aims high and provides support to all of his educators as well as supporting the program and the students. He has worked to enhance the level of information to staff and to the Nebo community. His efforts promote professional growth and advancement of the individual members of his staff and the quality of the driver education program. The Nebo driver education program continues to grow by recruiting and retaining high quality educators that provide outstanding driver and traffic safety education to new teen drivers. The success of the driver education program at Nebo School District is a direct reflection of the time and dedication of Dr. Kelepolo."
