Why do I want to separate my personal email from my Nebo account?
You should use this email account for work. Although it is okay to use this account for occasional personal use, for the following reasons, the district recommends you also have a separate personal email account:
- Your Nebo account (including email, calendars, documents, etc.) will be deleted shortly after you leave Nebo School District.
- Because the email within your account belongs to government entity, your messages may be accessible to the general public through GRAMA requests (public records requests).
- According to school district policy, emails will be automatically deleted from the system when they are seven years old.
