CentraCom Donates to Nebo Education Foundation

Faylyn Catmull, the Communications Development Director for CentraCom, surprised Nebo Education Foundation with a generous donation of $1,000. 

Each year, CentraCom employees donate a portion of their salaries to a personally selected charitable organization. CentraCom matches the contributions to the same organization. During this time of uncertainty for the health and well-being of the community and the education of students, the employees of CentraCom chose to donate to the frontline of service -- to educators.

CentraCom stated in a letter: “We have selected your organization as a recipient for a portion of those donated funds. We want to personally express our gratitude for the work you are doing to keep our communities safe during these trying times. We hope these donated funds will help you continue the great cause your organization is accomplishing.”

“These monies will fund teacher grants in the form of science equipment, technology, literacy books, and musical instruments. Thank you so much for thinking of our teachers that have worked harder than ever to reach students and expand their knowledge during these difficult times. Our Nebo teachers have truly missed the face-to-face interaction with their precious students. We are grateful to technology so that teachers can still connect with their students every day,” said Lana Hiskey, Executive Director of the Nebo Education Foundation.

CentraCom provides digital services including high speed internet, digital cable TV, unlimited telephone, CentraGuard, Centra WIFI, Watch TV Anywhere, and a technology store to many of Nebo’s families.
