Monday, August 19, was the first day of school for Nebo School District students. The "red carpet" royal treatment was experienced by many Nebo students on the first day. Students were welcomed knowing that they were missed over the summer by the huge signs welcoming them back. Still others learned of the Nebo theme, "Discover the Power within."
Some of the messages sent to students include the following:

"Make lots of friends and be a good friend. You are an amazing kid. Don't be afraid to be yourself. You rock!"
"Welcome Back"
"You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think."
"We Lead. We Learn. We Inspire. I am Important!"
"Always try! It's okay if it is hard... but always try. Being kind is always the right choice."
"When in doubt, go to the library."
"Remember how special you are and to always do your best."
