Leader in Me School, Cherry Creek Elementary

The Leader in Me School, Cherry Creek Elementary, celebrated with students, faculty, and staff the Stephen Covey’s 7 habits: be proactive, begin with the end in mind, put first things first, think win-win, seek first to understand then to be understood, synergize, and sharpen the saw.

This year’s theme was “Mission Possible”. The school used the quote by Francis of Assisi, "Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. "

This was the fifth annual Leadership Day Celebration. Every year the school showcases leadership at the school. A variety of students participate in Leadership Day including: the choir, the dancers, and orchestra!  Some students greet visitors, give speeches, and everyone shows how they are a leader at Cherry Creek.

Mr. Duncan shared some of his reflections about Leadership Day and thanked all those who came, contributed, and shared in the school’s successes.
