Five High Schools Represented Nebo Well at FCCLA Nationals

Over 7,500 youth met  in Nashville, TN for FCCLA Nationals July 1-7. FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America - one of the biggest clubs available to students in Nebo high schools. 
District wide,  13 students from all 5 high schools represented Nebo extremely well! These students first competed in a variety of projects starting at the region level, then advancing to state competitions, where they then qualified for nationals. 
Collectively, the district took home a total of 11 gold, 1 silver, and 1 bronze medals. The students and their medals are listed below:

-Amanda Moulton (Interpersonal Communication) Gold
-Jenna Moulton (Interpersonal Communication Gold
Springville High
-Erin Caswell (Recycle and Redesign) Silver
-Chloe Wilson (Fashion Design) Gold
Spanish Fork High
-Ashley Norris (Interior Design) Gold
Sherry Heaps, adviser at Payson High also earned the Master Adviser Award.
Besides competitions, the students and advisers who attended the conference were able to network with the nation, attend workshops for leadership development, and have a blast enjoying the sounds of 'Music City'.
