The Spanish Fork Junior High Career Technology Education (CTE) ninth-grade Manufacturing Technology class and teacher, Eddy Rawlings, surprised the Nebo School Board of Education by presenting a gift the students had manufactured in their class, a LED Light Stand.

Students in the Manufacturing Technology course used a laser engraver to make an LED Light Stand. As a part of the curriculum, the students needed to create a marketing plan for their project. A light stand with the Nebo School District logo was given to our Superintendent, Rick Nielsen, as a gift. He asked if the students could present their project/product to each one of the Nebo School Board of Education members.

The manufacturing students are hoping to sell various items to the public that they design and create throughout the year. Students that gifted their manufactured items to the Nebo School Board of Education are Jazmine Copado; Quaid Wride; Ty Willams; and teacher, Eddy Rawlings.

The Spanish Fork Junior High Manufacturing Technology course is one more CTE class that helps prepare our Nebo students for careers, community, and life. Thank you for sharing some of the items you are designing and creating.
