SheTech Explorer Day is a hands-on tech conference is on February 28, 2023, for high school girls ninth through twelfth grade. This day-long event will include hands-on workshops in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).  The ultimate goal is to expose girls to technology in a fun atmosphere as well as meet STEM role models to learn more about opportunities in those fields. Girls who attend will have access to internships, receive a SheTech certificate, receive pathway information and become part of a community to help girls have opportunities in STEM.

Registration is now open for the SheTech Explorer Day. The best workshops fill up quickly so register ASAP! There is no cost and lunch is provided.

Find out about workshops and registration online at https://shetechexplorer.com/

More than 3,000 girls will be in attendance from all over the state of Utah where they will connect directly with female mentors and role models in Utah’s tech industry. When you reserve your student seat to attend, you’ll be matched with hands-on workshops hosted by real tech companies and brands you love. Throughout the day, girls will explore career pathways and programs with universities from across the state of Utah, compete to win prizes in a TechChallenge that helps students apply technology to collaborate and problem solve on real-world issues, and so much more. Lunch will be provided–all free of cost!

This year, we are excited to announce SheTech Explorer Day is proud to be a program supported by the Utah State Board of Education Career & Technical Education and their CS Specialist, Kristina Yamada.
